So there it be. I had nothing last week and apologize. Well,
kind of. I actually spent last week end coming to terms with owning a car,
living in Aurora and dating a new lady.
This week I was going to write about the super bowl and
superstitions and how it compares to cycling and our superstitions but at the
last minute, literally five minutes ago, I decided that there wasn’t enough
teeth to wrap the chain around and flushed the idea. .
So instead, I will leave you with my craigslist add, where I
am trying to “get the band back together”. Enjoy!
GUITAR/VOCALIST SEEKING BAND/DRINKING BUDDIES
I am a guy with a guitar, amp
and a beard in search of a band, or group of humans, to play music with. I'm at
home with fast, aggressive and progressive sounds and riffs. I'm more of a lead
style player adding melodic/discordant riffs to off time structures and/or
driving rhythms. Beats.
My vocal style ranges from raspy-ness, to clean to screaming, to growling and just plain non-sense, all in one song if needed. I like the variety.
The last music project I was part of was called This Apparatus where I played guitar, did lead vocals and flailed around, mostly never missing a beat. I thrive off of live shows, I have lot's of energy, but also love a relaxing evening at home, sipping some brandy and writing mind blowing riffs whilst watching Sex and the City re-runs.

I've got 18+ years of live show, touring and recording experience.... I think.... I have my own car, my own gear, a job, no animals, I aint no scrub.
